Would have rated this system 5 stars across the board, but the equipment manuals were poorly written. Equipment: Impressed with the quality of manufacturing, and the quietness of both outdoor and indoor units. Manuals: 1. I have used Modine free standing gas fired heaters for some 28 years in Greenhouse application. They say nothing last for 20 years, yet I have 2 of 18 that have lasted that long. Stainless burners are Ideal, a little pricey for me, but the new aluminum/steal burners are superior to the old galvanized

I purchased the purefire 80, 6 years ago from eComfort, and it was the best purchase I have made. Super people to deal with and it has been an outstanding boiler with no problems. I'd buy from them again.

Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east. A Great Little Fan Jul 17, 2016

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. I have a thermostat in the chase and a control system that turns on the fan when the chase temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Now I can spend time... more
