Just purchased this minisplit system for a barn tack room and had it professionally installed, all went well and it is wonderfully suited for this room. It is quiet and efficient and so far is working perfect. We had very cold weather (single digits) and it heated the space effortlessly.

I bought this in-line fan to pump warm air into a chase containing hot and cold water pipes. When outdoor temperatures drop below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, the air in the chase falls below freezing, so I was worried that the pipes would freeze. This little fan together with flex duct (I stripped away the outer insulation) solved the problem. A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. The installation in my open garage took about 8 hours start to finish, its a little involved but not over the top, a gauge vacuum set from HF made getting the unit up and running easy. Each unit is made to order - it took almost 2 months for delivery. Unit is well made and quite quiet. Installation was straight forward although no instructions were included (I obtained them online to be sure wire connections were correct.) So far it is working perfectly.
