The Right Furnace - A Good Price Aug 13, 2016

I bought a home that needed some work, and a furnace was one of the items it needed. I have never replaced one before, so checking for the right one was not an easy task. There are so many brands to choose from, and the price range and size also. So I looked around for some months and finally decided to try goodman, the brand that was originally in the home. UPDATE 4/19/16: As stated in my previous post the ordering process was excellent. Additional to report is that I ordered the LG Art Cool Mirror including the complete installation kit (highly recommended) on Monday, the order shipped on Tuesday and arrived at my house on Friday. Replacement Boiler Sep 29, 2016

I had to buy a boiler to replace one leaking ,putting pilot out..i like the electronic ignition, but seems to be more to go wrong...replace boards $100...standing pilot ,no problems..except leaks in boiler...ill fire warranty claim later...6 year old boiler......i like quality of weil mcclain....we will see about warranty...ps installer now has parkinsons, and will not/can't cooperate......

Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east.
