The heater was ordered on a Friday and I could have gotten it on Wed but I could not have anybody here to receive it till Friday. It arrived on Friday morning just as I finished taking out the old furnace. I had it up and running by Monday, I tried to get the new one as close as possible as the old one in output and so I only got the single stage. Installed the ecobee 3 a few days ago, no problems at all with self install. The system is up and running and the remote sensor works properly in determining room occupancy and temp. range. Nothing wrong yet, the ecobee 3 does everything for you, just set it up and go. O and the Wi-Fi set-up was flawless too. This was the easiest product to use so far in 2015. Now lets see what it does for my gas bill...........if like everything else it will be great too.

Ameristar furnaces ARE the same as Trane and American standard furnaces (per trane tech support), except they don't have a painted finish. Even made in the same Trenton NJ factory. This furnace is about 40% cheaper here, on this site, than the same model in a Trane is from the local distributor.
