Unfortunately, it took too long to receive my furnace. I guess I didn't understand the delivery/shipment process. However, the furnace is working well and I am thankful for that.

This home has had a Janitrol for 25 years that was a great furnace and coil. This Goodman furnace and A-coil were installed by a professional heat and air company that has installed many of my other houses that I have built. However, very disappointed that it is so noisy. Goodman needs to work on that. Since I have had it for only a month I really cannot give you a rating. Delivery was great and fast. Will give customer service a great job. Installed this boiler in June 2012 - Very good documentation - Very good response from customer service when I had a question about the controls. Checked on higher efficiency rated boilers but could not justify the much higher price. Until you make up the increase in price with the savings in fuel the unit would be 8 - 10 years old. I replaced a Dunkirk XEB-3 (20 yrs. old) with the Dunkirk boiler above. The new one is all most identical to the old one, that is the pipes were located same as the old, so gas and water lines were easily plumbed. The old electrical wires could be used although lengthened to connect to the digital controls. The circulators location has changed, it's still provided with its wiring provided. Venting is the same as the old one. I was happy to get another Dunkirk that installed easily.
