After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Unit installed April 2009. Had to put a new ignitor & sensor in 01/10/2016. Parts alone were $500.00. I installed them. Now for some reason I am getting air in the system. Had to bleed base board radiators twice in two days. I never opened the system up, other than to put ignitor in. One day I had 6a on the computer and the next morning I had a 6L showing. Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit.
