Where do I start? I'm no HVAC pro. But I have one on speed dial. After much deliberating and my HVAC expert telling me to go with ecomfort I figured "what the heck". the site is great, the filter is okay. I selected my "kit" which touted to be a high end communicating (i.e. comfortnet) setup. GREAT! Only problem... You can't select individual options. I installed a WarmWire heated floor in a 6'x8' coat room that had no other source of heat. It is on a concrete slab with 2 outside walls and a wall to an unheated attached garage. I glued 2 6mm thick sheets of Cerazorb synthetic cork directly on the concrete. It was super easy to lay the wire on top on the cork using the metal clip system provided. To be safe, I laid a sheet of 1/4" luan plywood on top of the wires while laying the tile. I checked the resistance in the wires at each step... more
