After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Have been replacing slant fin through out the house for years. In the past used Runtal, this time Biasi. Wish that the American houses be build with the Euro panels in the first place - heat delivery, fuel savings, aesthetics, etc. no comparison. Runtal was a bit easier to install, more obvious as to in/out connections. Biasi has much more options and the instructions are not the best. I would suggest comparing the 3 choices of boilers recommended. I just bought the top rated and didn't realize it didn't come with the pump as pictured. I probably would have taken the most popular second choice. Also, the relief valve was no good on my boiler so I had to purchase a new one. Otherwise it works great and was easy to install.

We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.
