5-star Ultra Cool And Silent Studio Heat Pump May 12, 2016

This LG Art Cool Gallery 9K BTU Heat Pump is amazing! I had prewired and installed the required lineset in the walls during construction of my new Voiceover Studio three years ago. After finding such a great deal on this unit on eComfort's website I recently completed the order, and checked the box for FREE "Lift-Gate" delivery. The driver hauled the whole thing up my driveway on a pallet-jack and it was delivered in perfect shape. My HVAC contractor was able to work their magic... more

5-star Awesome Unit, Great Service May 18, 2016

A family member installed a 22k BTU Mitsubishi mini split in his 4 car garage (also purchased from ecomfort), i was so impressed with his unit i had to buy one myself. I bought this unit to heat and cool an 500sq ft 2 car, garage with 14' ceiling in NJ. I insulated the garage and self installed. The installation in my open garage took about 8 hours start to finish, its a little involved but not over the top, a gauge vacuum set from HF made getting the unit up and running easy. If you or... more

5-star Great Product Nov 04, 2016

I have extensive building trade skills so installing the AC unit was quite simple for me to tackle myself. I had to have a branch 220v electrical panel added to service the unit. The only problem I had was finding a HVAC contractor to test the unit for leaks prior to firing it up. Since most licensed HVAC contractors don't want to touch so small a job or they don't want the liability of signing off on the leak test if they did not install the unit themselves. I can understand that, but... more

1-star Not Good. Oct 23, 2016

To begin, I regret buying this daily. It replaced a 10+ yr old Fujitsu that outperformed it in every way. First issue I had was the directional blade motor failing. Ecomfort sent a new part, it's now working. Second issue has to do with the appearance, the seams to not align, many of the gaps between plastic parts are uneven. It appears to be caused by how thin the plastic is, it borders on paper, it really does not have enough integrity to support it's own weight. Even if you are going... more

5-star Great Overall Aug 20, 2016

Love this unit! Installed in the fall, it cools well yet can put out satisfyingly uncomfortable amounts of heat when it's 20F outside and throttles down very low to match demand. Thermostat is rather unintuitive to use all its features and you have only one set of temps in auto mode, but if you don't mind switching from heat mode to cool mode yourself you can program it any way you like. The indoor blower isn't obtrusive, but louder than the high fan of many ductless minisplits, even on... more
