The installation went as smooth as glass. The contractor was done in one day with my help. I am using this system to cool my garage (20 x 20 x 9) in FL. The system both indoor and outdoor units are unbelievably quite. The system is not cheap. However, you are getting a very high quality product worth every penny. On a 98/98 degree/humidity day the garage was cooled to 72 in about 90 minutes.

This was just installed recently in mild temperatures so I can't comment on how well it can heat and cool my small structure but based on the air temp it should work pretty well. I bought this because it is a newer unit with a slightly higher SEER than the KE series. The other nice thing about Daikin is the temp setting on heat can go down to 50, which is good to keep a room that's not being used from freezing (other units only go as low as 65). It is impossible to say maybe so at this point, I'd say depends not no. I bought this system from a supplier and have found support sometimes good and others seemed to be the person was reading the same documentation I already had. The reason I called was the documentation is not always very helpful and misses a lot. e.g. There is nothing regarding how to connect the condensate lines to the units except to do it. There is a lot about making sure they drain, but really. That makes obvious... more
