4-star Unit Woks Great But Concerned About The Lack Of Warranty Aug 01, 2016

It was easy to install and start up but in reading the manual no warranty is supplied unless the system is installed by a certified installer. The house was cold and it was Saturday so no option of contracting help. Gas furnaces are inherently reliable so probably not a problem but some warning may have changed my mind of self performing.

Install went exactly per instructions. The unit is very quiet. I would also recommend ecomfort’s basic install kit. The wireless thermostat is a nice touch. Works just like a traditional thermostat and is programmable. The indoor unit is 3ft from a tv and 4ft from a fluorescent light. I have not seen any interference. Each unit is made to order - it took almost 2 months for delivery. Unit is well made and quite quiet. Installation was straight forward although no instructions were included (I obtained them online to be sure wire connections were correct.) So far it is working perfectly.
