Amazing A/C system. Quiet, 30% lower operating cost than a traditional unit, 20% lower cost to purchase. Far superior to the old school monstrosity. Blows my mind that everybody does not use a mini split system. The energy savings (over a traditional unit) will pay for my entire system within ten years! 19+ SEER versus the 13 SEER of the old crud. I need to emphasize quiet operation. 5-star Works As Advertised With 1/2" Gas Line Nov 23, 2016

I bought the Rinnai RUC80iN because of it's ability to function with a 1/2" gas line. Starting with 8 w.c. Of pressure, I turned on both showers, the gas furnace, gas dryer and stove........still had 6 w.c. Of pressure and plenty of hot water. Easy self install.....don't believe the hype about needing a licensed plumber.....just common sense and follow the directions.

I have used these before on a 2nd floor. Really was looking for something to put tile on rather than a mortar base. These are great, east to cut, easy to put down fabric and then tile using unmodified thinset. It's been several years and still looks good, water drains well.
