So far this seems like a terrific unit. We bought it primarily for heating. We spoke with a professional local installer who was terrific. They let us do some of the things to save costs. It's really easy if you can drill a hole through your wall. The professionals came before and after to check over what we did and then do the vacuum pumping and a few other things we just weren't sure about. Thank you eComfort. My cast iron heater started leaking from kids jumping on it (5 children jumping in sync). I had only turned on the heat for the first time as it just got cold. The kids complained... I said jump around and warm up, I will turn on the heat. They jumped alright... Right on the heater waiting for the heat to rise from it until they got off and said their feet were wet. Ordered the radiator and it came within 2 days. Fast delivery & great service.

If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. The thing weighs about ten times a regular heater of similar size so holds heat much better - though ultimately you are buying this for looks not performance. Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east.
