AC unit of 8 years died during heat spell and contractors where quoting very high prices to replace. Having some mechanical ability I decided to purchase and install a new unit myself. eComfort guided me through the whole system and the new unit was shipped to Calif. in just a few days. Had new unit installed in two days and had a licensed AC Tech do my start-up. I saved almost $6000 dollars. New project will be a whole house fan system which they also sell.

- this one is working great now after I fixed it out of the box. It would have been nice to have had fire up immediate right after install. But no it would not lite. It was not getting gas to the pilot light due to the supply line from the gas cock was to tight from being stretched to far to left of the gas cock thus by moving it over a row in the burner line up the tension of the gas supply to the pilot opened enough to allow the pilot to lite. Great product but found the pressure sensor only works if the world is working perfectly! Meaning the venting must be in excellent shape and does not come apart in the walls or the power is a reliable source. This was installed in one of our customer's homes. Installation straight forward and worked well but then it became a nightmare. Multiple calls back and a real money looser. just had a issue when boiler started small exlosian and gas smell called my propane dealer sent person out to check pressure . pressure was fine he said there was no adjustment on the air today. we turned up thermostat and boiler ignited. there was no issue this time. im still a little confused. other than this issue i like this product waitng to see what happens
