Installed this boiler for a basement hydronic heat application. Boiler installation is very straightforward. Was impressed by the control screen. Boiler is very quiet. Overall very satisfied.

Shipping was fast. Delivered on wood pallet. Installation took 2 days, primarily because of location of the unit inside and outside. Line set length was 46 feet, did not need to add extra 410a. For communication/power I used 14/4 mini split cable sold at hvac supply stores. Unit runs very quiet (inside and out) in Cooling mode, while hearing,the compressor ramps up and you can hear it a little. Two days after installation, the 12k unit quit working with a fan malfunction code. Efforts to contact Gree have been unsuccessful. The 9k unit continues to operate normally. Warranty/repair is a real issue.

I have built a greenhouse and installed this boiler into the benches to heat the propagation soil and to a unit heater. I decided on hydronic, but knew nothing about its operation or how it really worked. I did my research and, with the help of ecomfort, electro industries, and other online resources, now have a great system in place.
