Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit. My neighbor just spent $3500.00 having a new furnace put on, which for me was out of the question...I bought your furnace (same size) for $575.00 delivered to my door. I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base.
