I used this inline fan to hook up to my vent hood in my kitchen. Even though this product was assembled in America, the motor was made in Germany and you certainly can't go wrong with German technology. I also brought LD10 silencer to attach directly to the fan and placed the silencer between the vent hood and the fan. I also purchased the FC10 clamp to hold the silencer and fan in place. I have used this product before. I would not do a shower using any other product. You spend a lot of time and $ doing a new shower, you should do it right. With this, I know everything is sloped properly, the products fit together and it will be waterproof. We used the shower for a few weeks while tile was on its way last time as the shower is watertight, even without tile.

Amazing A/C system. Quiet, 30% lower operating cost than a traditional unit, 20% lower cost to purchase. Far superior to the old school monstrosity. Blows my mind that everybody does not use a mini split system. The energy savings (over a traditional unit) will pay for my entire system within ten years! 19+ SEER versus the 13 SEER of the old crud. I need to emphasize quiet operation. Delivery was OK (took awhile). I installed the indoor unit in a difficult spot so ducting was a real challenge. The concern was finding a HVAC teck to complete the skilled work. It was several calls to find one and therefore paid more than I had budgeted. Recommend working on that issue prior to jumping in to self installation. Happy with the system.
