This was my first mini-split installation, and it was time consuming but easy. The system is very quiet while running, easily have a conversation standing next to it and I can't hear it standing around the corner of the building, 10' away. The installation is on a semi-secluded lake cottage with only nature for ambient noise, it is that quiet. My installer is an experienced air-con guy and I assisted him because I was curious about the whole process. This was the first mini-split system he installed and it went together easily and quickly. When we first turned it on we thought we had a problem because we couldn't hear the outdoor condenser running. After a month of research I finally decide to go with these Panasonic and I'm glad I did and I save money along the way comparing to the Mitsubishi, these thing is super quiet and the house feels pretty good. Hoping for the best from heat pump. Kevin from In line Mechanical did a great job.
