4-star Unit Woks Great But Concerned About The Lack Of Warranty Jun 06, 2016

It was easy to install and start up but in reading the manual no warranty is supplied unless the system is installed by a certified installer. The house was cold and it was Saturday so no option of contracting help. Gas furnaces are inherently reliable so probably not a problem but some warning may have changed my mind of self performing.

I was originally going to buy a Goodman furnace for a lower price from another online company but when I found EComfort on the web and talked with their representative it was like night and day difference. The first company had an online program calculator to figure out the right furnace based upon the square footage, insulation and windows in the house. The furnace was a very easy replacement of an existing 20 year old one. I only had to build a 12" height extension platform for the furnace to sit on. The wiring, plumbing, and electrical was an easy hook up! It started right up and has performed flawlessly ever since! The cost of the furnace was less than my last years furnace repair bill.
