January 2016 our heater went out at our business. We ordered the Modine PDP-150,000 BTU Unit Heater. Other than the shipping was slow - we received this heater a little later than expected in Wisconsin. The heater was installed and is working great as of today, March 2.

My suggestion is to have a very experienced high efficiency furnace plumber install the unit. From what I now know all aspects of the system need to be in balance to work properly. My unit is exceptional and my wife likes the colored pictures designating the various modes of operation.

Modine Noisy May 10, 2016

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more

I am in the process of remodeling my bathroom and wanted something cleaner and sleeker than the old hydronic base boards. This heater is just the touch my bathroom needed and would look nice in any room you choose to put it in. There are female fittings on the sides and underneath so you are free to plumb how ever you wish. The heater is reversible and can be mounted with heat regulator on left or right. It is a fantastic buy with a fantastic look and i would recommend this heater to anyone... more
