So far this seems like a terrific unit. We bought it primarily for heating. We spoke with a professional local installer who was terrific. They let us do some of the things to save costs. It's really easy if you can drill a hole through your wall. The professionals came before and after to check over what we did and then do the vacuum pumping and a few other things we just weren't sure about. Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit.
