Unit Woks Great But Concerned About The Lack Of Warranty Jul 12, 2016

It was easy to install and start up but in reading the manual no warranty is supplied unless the system is installed by a certified installer. The house was cold and it was Saturday so no option of contracting help. Gas furnaces are inherently reliable so probably not a problem but some warning may have changed my mind of self performing.

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. So Far So Good Aug 10, 2016

Just purchased this minisplit system for a barn tack room and had it professionally installed, all went well and it is wonderfully suited for this room. It is quiet and efficient and so far is working perfect. We had very cold weather (single digits) and it heated the space effortlessly.

I waited for two months to write this review. Iowa Cold, but not on the feet. I put in radiant tubing inside of concrete flooring of 800 sq ft with kitchen on another 150 not with radiant in an "apt." for my daughter. I can't tell you how nice it feels immediately upon entering. It is a different feel to the warmth. At our home, we have a furnace we set at 68 - 72 depending on what time of day(programmable) and it never feels warm. At my daughters it is set at 67 degrees... more
