It was shipped in the best possible way. The unit was on its on skid and the whole assembly on a secondary skid all wrapped in plastic. Bought my tank less gas water heater as I was just getting and switching to gas and my electric was 23 years old. Gas was not here until a month and a half later. I am up, running and took a very very long hot shower. Nice to never be able to run out. I ran the sink, kitchen sink, shower and it had no problem keeping up. AC unit of 8 years died during heat spell and contractors where quoting very high prices to replace. Having some mechanical ability I decided to purchase and install a new unit myself. eComfort guided me through the whole system and the new unit was shipped to Calif. in just a few days. Had new unit installed in two days and had a licensed AC Tech do my start-up. I saved almost $6000 dollars. New project will be a whole house fan system which they also sell.

I finally got this installed and working. I like the copper heat exchanger and the compact size. I mounted the first one to concrete walls to avoid vibration above. It took some adjusting to get the louvers to stop vibrating and making noise. It looks like a slick little heater and I expect it will last longer than me. The only down side is the vibration from the fan. I'll have to cut the pipe and put in some vibration dampening. It carries the vibration through the pipes into the hangers... more
