If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. I deep researched this unit before purchasing, previously had small portable units (worked, but labor intensive)...basement would always be 15 percent higher humidity than upper house (deep summer would yield 70 percent humidity downstairs)...I "rafter" hung unit with run off directly to my furnace's evaporation pump (used clear tubing to see water discharge)...as "summer" just arrived and downstairs was reading 56 percent humidity I set unit to 50 on control and 11 hours... more
